Public Housing


LCHA practices project-based management and maintenance. Each development has its own on-site office for its manager, clerk and maintenance staff. All daily operations for the site are conducted through this office. The staff is easily accessible to the residents and is responsible for keeping the units occupied, collecting the rents, performing annual calculations of each resident’s rent, lease enforcement, providing routine and preventive maintenance and pest extermination.

Definitions of Public Housing Bedroom Sizes


00. Efficiency -
Single, Elderly, Handicapped, or Disabled persons.

01. One (1) Bedroom -
Couples (Husband/Wife, Boyfriend/Girlfriend, Significant other) no Children, not for Singles. Applicants that are Elderly (62 or older), Handicapped or Disabled will be given a preference.

02. Two (2) Bedroom -
Two children of the same gender to a bedroom
(Example - Parent/s and one child or parent/s and two children of the same gender)

03. Three (3) Bedroom -
Two children of the same gender to a bedroom
(Example - Parent/s and three children or parent/s and four children where there is two girls and two boys)

04. Four (4) Bedroom -
Must have a large enough family to accommodate the bedrooms size.
(Example - Parent/parents and four children where there is three of one gender and one of the other gender or parent/s and five children.)

05. Five (5) Bedroom -
Must have a large enough family to accommodate the bedrooms size.
(Example - Parent/s and at least 6 children of mixed gender.)
